We are proud to be working in Partnership with a SEN School between Brentwood and Basildon, Essex that caters for pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). We are currently looking to recruit a Premises Maintenance Assistant (Caretaker) to start on 4th January 2021.

Premises Maintenance Assistant (Caretaker) Responsibilities:   

  • Security and supervision     

  • Cleaning   

  • Grounds maintenance

  • Electrical works

  • Maintenance of outdoor swimming pool

  • Minor repairs to Staff Houses

  • Regular maintenance checks to waste pumps

  • Regular checks of danger signs to moat

  • Working at heights

  • Plumbing, plaster repairs, glazing and painting work

Premises Maintenance Assistant (Caretaker) Requirements:      

  • Previous similar experience in the building trade is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
    You should be able to demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills and be able to relate well to pupils and interact with them in a friendly and positive manner.

  • A cheerful, flexible approach, the ability to prioritise, with a can-do attitude and good DIY skills are essential.

  • Mon-Thurs: 07:30-15:30 Fri: 07:30-15:00
