A fantastic all through Special School (SEN School) near Radlett, Hertfordshire is looking for an additional SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to support their learners with Autism. The Special School (SEN School) is for both Primary and Secondary aged learners with Autism.

The Special School (SEN School) is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) who is looking for a long term role supporting learners with Autism.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) your responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide support to learners aged 5-19 within a SEN School.

  • Passionate about supporting young people with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities

  • Passionate about working with young people Autism.

  • Work in partnership with, peers, parents, carers to ensure the best possible platform is given

As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) your responsibilities will include: 

  • Be committed to striving for the best outcome for the young people you work with

  • Team Teach / StepOn Training or willingness to obtain.

  • Eagerness to work in SEND.

  • Passion for supporting young people or adults with SEND

  • Approachable and have the needed attributes to engage with learner within the settings
