We are proud to be supporting a fantastic Residential Special School in Norfolk who are looking to appoint additional SEN Teaching Assistant in their Primary side for September 2021. The SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary) will be working with Primary aged learners who have special educational needs (SEN).  

SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary)Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Primary aged learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

  • Liaise and work with the class Teacher and other colleagues

  • Supporting learners who at times have challenging behaviour

  • Supporting learners with educational and emotional support

SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary)Requirements:

  • Be committed to striving for the best outcome for the young people you work with

  • experience or passion for supporting learners with SEND

  • Experience or an eagerness to support learners with Autism and Communication needs

  • Approachable and have the needed attributes to engage with challenging learners.
