Support students during breaktimes, educational visits and enrichment activities where required. Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion at all times. About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Experience working with children or young people in an educational, care or support setting. A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A calm, patient and flexible approach to supporting young people. The ability to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to promoting inclusion, wellbeing and positive outcomes for every learner. Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are desirable but not essential. The Role As a Qualified Multi-Subject SEND Teacher, you will deliver a flexible, cross-curricular timetable tailored to the individual needs of students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Working closely with Learning Support Assistants, families and external professionals, you will create meaningful learning experiences that build confidence, independence and academic progress. About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching pupils with SEND, SEMH or within specialist or alternative provision. Confidence delivering a broad curriculum across multiple subject areas. A strong understanding of adaptive teaching strategies and differentiated learning. Knowledge of EHCPs and experience supporting personalised learning programmes. Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management skills. The ability to work collaboratively with support staff, families and external agencies. A calm, flexible and resilient approach with a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people.
