Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored lessons for KS3 Foundation and KS4 students across core subjects

  • Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs in outreach and alternative provision

  • Provide 1:1 and small group tuition in flexible settings across Halifax, Yorkshire

  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, families, and external agencies

  • Monitor, record, and report on progress to ensure clear outcomes and continued development

Requirements for Outreach Tutor Role

  • Teaching experience in SEND, SEMH, alternative provision, or similar

  • Strong knowledge of KS3 and KS4 curriculum

  • QTS/QTLS is desirable, but experienced unqualified teachers/tutors are welcome to apply
