Position Details:
Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk
Position: Teaching Assistant
Hours: 37 hours per week; Monday – Friday, term time only
Salary: Grade C – £23,278 to £26,417 per annum FTE
Contract: Temp to Permanent
Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
As a Teaching Assistant in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, you’ll be part of an alternative education provision supporting students with emotional and behavioural challenges. This role demands grit, patience, and unwavering resilience, as you’ll be working intensively in small groups to bring stability and inspiration to pupils who need it most.
Your responsibilities will include:

Teaching and guiding small groups of students with SEN or behavioural needs.

Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in a supportive, structured environment.

Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and multi-agency professionals.

Providing individualised interventions, counselling and emotional regulation strategies.

Taking charge of a class during staff absence and delivering focused, consistent support.

Working externally on trips and off-site activities to enrich student experience.
Teaching Assistant Skills & Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, who brings:
