  • Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small group interventions.
  • Encouraging participation and building pupils' confidence in the classroom.
  • Assisting the teacher with planning, preparing, and delivering engaging learning activities.
  • Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the teaching team.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support each child's development.

Although it is a primary provision, many pupils are working approximately two academic years below their chronological age, making this role particularly well suited to an EYFS teacher.
