We are proud to be working in Partnership with an Alternative Provision (AP) in Ipswich, Suffolk who are looking for additional Learning Support Assistants (LSA). The Alternative Provision caters for pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The successful Learning Support Assistant (LSA) will be supporting in either Keys Stage 1 - 4.
Learning Support Assistants (LSA) Responsibilities:
Support learners in either key stage 1 - 4
Engage with young people who have Social, Emotional, Mental, Health needs (SEMH), Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Ensure learners maintain a good level of engagement in lessons.
Work in partnership with Parents, Carers and SLT to ensure pupils are making positive progress.
Learning Support Assistants (LSA) Requirements:
Relevant training or experience in supporting learners with SEN
The successful Learning Support Assistants (LSA) will have experience of working with learners who require extra support both educationally and emotionally
The ability to think creatively and engage with young learners who have previously not engaged in a mainstream setting
