Inspire EHC is an Education Agency that specialises in Special Educational Needs. We are proud to support SEN Schools, Alternative Provision, Pupil Referral Units and Mainstream Schools across Suffolk.

We are currently working with an Outstanding SEN School in North Suffolk for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties including Speech and Language, Autism and/or Behaviour Difficulties that is looking for a Pupil and Family Support Worker to add a new member of staff to their Family and Pupil Support Team.

Pupil and Family Support Worker Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Parents, Carers ensure the pupils receive the best access to education.

  • Create individual plans around pupil’s specific needs and monitor progress.

  • Help bridge the gaps between home and school life.

  • Work with other school members of staff, parents and carers are working collaboratively.

  • Create and maintain positive relationships within the school/home.

Pupil and Family Support Worker Requirements:

  • Strong Communication skills both verbally and written.

  • Have a good understanding of Education Health Care Plans (EHCP)

  • Be understanding towards the needs of pupils, parents, carers and other members of staff.

  • Previous experience either as a HLTA or in a Pastoral role would be advantageous.
