We are working with a Community Special School in North Cambridgeshire who are looking for a SEN Teacher to work with their Year 7/8 pupils. The successful SEN Teacher will be experienced in working with young people with Complex Needs and will need to match the below criteria.
SEN Teacher Responsibilities:
Teaching learners with Complex Needs in years 7/8
Experience of planning and delivering lessons to learners at varied levels of ability, from year 1 up to year 4
Posses the right attributes in maintaining learner engagement
Be able to communicate and work with 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants
Be committed to ensuring consistency for the learners is met
SEN Teacher Requirements:
The successful candidate should have the relevant experience required in working with young learners with Complex Needs
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other relevant qualifications and/or experiences around SEND in particular, Complex Needs
Be able to communicate with SLT, other Teaching Staff, SEN TAs, Parents and Carers
Be able to commit to 5 days a week (including 3 hours PPA)
