Inspire EHC is a SEND Recruitment Agency based in East Anglia. We are proud to support Special Schools, Alternative Provision (AP), Pupil Referral Units (PRU), Mainstream Intervention and take great pride in forming partnerships.

We are working with a Community Special School in North Cambridgeshire who are looking for a SEN Teacher to work with their Year 7/8 pupils. The successful SEN Teacher will be experienced in working with young people with Complex Needs and will need to match the below criteria.

SEN Teacher Responsibilities: 

  • Teaching learners with Complex Needs in years 7/8

  • Experience of planning and delivering lessons to learners at varied levels of ability, from year 1 up to year 4

  • Posses the right attributes in maintaining learner engagement

  • Be able to communicate and work with 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants

  • Be committed to ensuring consistency for the learners is met

SEN Teacher Requirements:

  • The successful candidate should have the relevant experience required in working with young learners with Complex Needs

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other relevant qualifications and/or experiences around SEND in particular, Complex Needs

  • Be able to communicate with SLT, other Teaching Staff, SEN TAs, Parents and Carers

  • Be able to commit to 5 days a week (including 3 hours PPA)
