Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) looking for an exciting new role for September 2021? We are currently working with one of our partner Alternative Provisions in Ipswich, Suffolk in their quest to create a new provision for September 2021. We are looking for an experienced SENCo ideally at secondary level who has experience in Autism and/or communication needs. This is a brand new hub for up to 18 secondary aged learners.

Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of up to 5 staff in a secondary provision

  • Ensure staff are giving up to 18 learners with Communication needs the opportunity to thrive

  • Communicate with the Alternative Provision Trust leader to ensure the provision is running smoothly

  • Continuingly and positively work with Parents and Carers

Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) Applicant Requirements:

  • National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)

  • Experience in working with learners with communication needs

  • Experience in working with key stake holders

  • Committed to ensuring all learners receive the best platform to an education
