We are expanding our specialist support talent pool across East Anglia and are looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated individuals to support children, young people and adults with a range of additional needs.
We regularly work with specialist services, residential settings, supported living providers, autism services, mental health provisions and specialist educational settings across King's Lynn, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Colchester.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. Every day is different, but your support can have a lasting impact on a person's confidence, wellbeing, communication skills and overall quality of life.
You may support individuals with:
• Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
• Learning Disabilities
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
• ADHD
• Challenging Behaviour
• Speech and Communication Needs
• Complex Needs
• Anxiety and Mental Health Difficulties
Key Responsibilities
• Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
• Build trusting and positive relationships.
• Promote independence, confidence and self-esteem.
• Support emotional wellbeing and positive mental health.
• Assist with daily living skills and life skills development.
• Encourage participation in activities and community engagement.
• Support individuals during challenging situations using positive behaviour approaches.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
