Inspire EHC is working in partnership with a highly regarded Outstanding SEN School in Lowestoft to recruit a dedicated KS3 SEN Teacher. This well-established Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Lowestoft supports pupils from Year 3 to Year 11, including access to term-time residential provision.
The school specialises in supporting students with:

Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Key Responsibilities – SEN Teacher (KS3)
As a KS3 SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN

Support students in achieving outcomes linked to their EHCP targets

Implement effective behaviour management strategies
-
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
-
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and families
-
Follow and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
-
Promote student independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
Requirements – SEN / SEND Teacher
To be successful in this SEN Teacher job in Suffolk, you will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience working in SEN, SEND, or specialist education settings
-
Strong knowledge of autism, MLD, and communication needs
-
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
-
A flexible, patient, and empathetic approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
-
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
