Salary: £13.80 - £15/hr dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities as a Care Assistant within a SEN School:

• Support children and young people with a variety of learning, physical, sensory, communication, and medical needs.

• Provide personal care with dignity, including toileting, changing, and hygiene support.

• Assist pupils with postural management, including walking aids and physiotherapy routines.

• Help with feeding and drinking, including gastrostomy care (full training provided).

• Encourage independence and active participation in daily school life.


Care Assistant within a SEN School Skills & Requirements:

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic nature

• Willingness to learn – no experience required as full training is provided

• Ability to work as part of a supportive and collaborative team

• Commitment to upholding the wellbeing and dignity of all pupils

• Based in or willing to travel to Norwich, Norfolk
