About the Role
As a Secondary English Teacher, you’ll teach small groups of KS3 and KS4 students following an adapted version of the National Curriculum. Lessons are designed to be engaging, inclusive, and accessible for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You’ll have the opportunity to shape learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students achieve meaningful qualifications such as GCSEs and functional skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 English to mixed-ability classes in small groups

  • Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including teaching assistants, care staff, and therapists

  • Helping pupils achieve strong outcomes academically, socially, and emotionally
