Location: Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft (50:50 split)
Start Date: September 2025 | Contract: Permanent | Hours: 35–40 per week

Based across two campuses in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, this Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school supports students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Now, as the school grows, we’re seeking a dedicated Modern Languages Teacher to help bring languages to life—and build learners' confidence along the way.
The Role
You will teach Modern Languages (French, Spanish, or German preferred) to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with a wide range of additional learning needs. Using creativity, curiosity, and relational practice, you’ll deliver lessons that engage and inspire. Flexibility is key: while your focus will be languages, you may also be asked to support the wider curriculum, providing input in other subject areas as needed.

Deliver accessible, engaging language lessons tailored to individual needs

Foster curiosity and cultural understanding in a nurturing, inclusive environment

Support learners’ development across the curriculum when required

Collaborate with colleagues across both campuses to ensure continuity and support

Contribute to a trauma-informed, movement-friendly learning culture

Adapt content for EHCP targets and diverse SEN profiles

Who We’re Looking For
-
QTS or QTLS qualified teacher
-
Experience teaching French, Spanish, or German at secondary level

Confident in supporting a wide range of SEN and adapting teaching accordingly

Open to teaching or assisting in other subjects when required

Understanding of EHCPs and trauma-informed approaches
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel between sites essential)
