Science Teacher (SEN – Secondary)
Location: Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft (50:50 Split)
Start Date: September 2025 | Contract: Permanent | Hours: 35–40 per week
Salary: Main Pay Scale + SEN Allowance

This forward-thinking, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their growing team across two campuses in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. With a curriculum built around curiosity, creativity, and accessibility, you'll be empowered to reimagine science education in a setting that genuinely values both learners and staff.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, practical science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with diverse learning needs

Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration

Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of SEN requirements, including EHCP targets

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of educators, clinicians, and support staff

Work across both Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft campuses (travel required)

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
-
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and/or KS4
-
Understanding of SEN, EHCPs, and personalised learning plans
-
Flexible, creative approach to curriculum design and classroom engagement

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for travel between sites)
