Teaching Assistant – SEN & Specialist Education

Hourly rate: £14.30 - £15.50 per hour
(Paid weekly, in arrears)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Working pattern:

Monday: 8.30am – 3.30pm

Tuesday: 8.45am – 4.30pm

Weeks worked: Term time (38 weeks per year)

There are also optional additional hours available within a residential care provision for those wishing to enhance their skills and earnings.
About the setting
This is a residential specialist school for boys aged 7–16 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Many pupils have experienced disrupted education and benefit from consistent, caring and nurturing support.
Staff work together with compassion and high expectations to ensure pupils leave with positive academic outcomes, improved confidence, and the social and emotional skills needed for adulthood.
