The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support under the guidance of teachers and therapists

  • Support pupils with Autism, communication difficulties and SEMH needs

  • Implement behaviour support strategies and communication tools

  • Actively participate in outdoor learning and forest school sessions

  • Build trusting, nurturing relationships that help children feel safe and understood

  • Support emotional regulation, engagement and learning throughout the school day
