As an Inclusive Learning Practitioner, you will help learners rebuild confidence, develop trust, and re-engage with education in a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support for learners with trauma backgrounds or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Use trauma-informed approaches to build trust and promote emotional regulation. Support classroom learning by adapting materials and strategies to individual needs. Encourage positive behaviour and resilience through consistent, nurturing support. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and external agencies to ensure holistic care for each student. Requirements Experience supporting children or young people affected by trauma, SEMH, or additional learning needs. (Preferred) Level 2 (or higher) Teaching Assistant qualification. (Preferred) Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and behaviour support strategies. A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to learning support. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
