About the Role
- Location: Near Worksop
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Term-time only)
- Pay: £24,570 - £25,935
- Start Date: January 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated professional to join our team in Worksop as a SEN Teaching Assistant. If you are passionate about supporting learners with SEND and making a positive impact, we want to hear from you!
SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor, support, and inspire learners by assisting with curriculum-based activities both in the classroom, during home tuition, outreach programmes, and outdoor activities
- Help prepare learning materials and contribute to achieving learning objectives, with a strong emphasis on behaviour management
- Provide daily reports on learners' progress and identify barriers to learning
- Engage regularly with parents and carers to support learner development
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Possesses a passionate and committed approach to working with students with SEND
- Has at least two years' experience working in a SEND environment or similar setting
- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (highly advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential, due to travel between school sites and outreach work)

About our SEN School in Worksop:
Our school is located in a rural setting on the outskirts of Worksop, providing a safe, stimulating learning environment with specialist facilities and access to local resources. We maintain a high staff-to-pupil ratio, with many pupils receiving 1:1 support or learning in small groups to build social skills and independence.
