About the Role
SEN Teaching Assistant – Leatherhead, Surrey
Inspire EHC is seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school team in Leatherhead, Surrey. You will play a key role in helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This opportunity is ideal for a graduate or aspiring educator who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and making a meaningful difference in their educational journey.
Role Details:
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 08:45 – 15:15 (term-time only)
Pay: £84 – £90.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs within the classroom
- Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff
- Assist in implementing and reviewing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources to support engaging, inclusive lessons
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, behaviour, and key achievements
