Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Hours: Monday – Friday
Salary: £15.00 - £19.00 p/hr , dependent on experience
Contract: Ongoing

Are you an experienced 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) looking to make a positive impact near Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire? We are proud to be supporting a learner near Duxford, Cambridgeshire. We are seeking additional support in the form of a 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant. Due to the location, the ideal LSA will have access to transport. You will be supporting a teacher in providing a safe and supportive environment for a learner with undiagnosed needs.

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Support our primary learners' social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Provide support for pupil’s emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and other staff to ensure the pupil is engaged in learning.
  • Collaborate with a Teacher.
  • Must be able to commute to a rural location near Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.

Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

  • Be committed to ensuring every pupil receives a platform for education.
  • Experience supporting a learner with communication needs.
  • Supporting teaching and learning certificates.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or a certificate printed within the last 12 months.
  • Supporting a learner near Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
  • Must be available to start immediately.
  • Available Mon–Fri.
