About the Role
Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Near Fetcham, Surrey
Salary: £84.05 – £90 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract Type: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 (term-time only)

Job Description
Inspire EHC is working with a welcoming and inclusive school near Fetcham, Surrey, to recruit dedicated Learning Support Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for a psychology graduate, aspiring teacher, experienced TA, or individuals looking for a career change who are passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
You will provide 1:1 support and small group assistance, helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and make progress both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Assist in preparing engaging and inclusive learning resources
- Track and report pupil progress and behaviour

Requirements
- A passion for SEN and inclusive education
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide professional references
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Patience, empathy, and a calm, flexible approach to supporting children with additional needs
- Ability to follow guidance from teachers and SENCOs, while also using initiative when needed
- Previous experience working with children or young people (in school, youth work, care, or similar) is highly desirable
