About the Role

SEN Teaching Assistant – Leatherhead, Surrey

Inspire EHC is seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school team near Leatherhead, Surrey. You will play a key role in helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This opportunity is ideal for a graduate or aspiring educator who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and making a meaningful difference in their educational journey.

Role Details:
Location: Near Leatherhead, Surrey
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 (term-time only)
Pay: £84.05 – £90 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Contract: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs within the classroom
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff
  • Assist in implementing and reviewing individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Help prepare classroom materials and resources to support engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, behaviour, and key achievements
