About the Role

We are recruiting a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to work in a specialist space near Royston, Hertfordshire, supporting a Year 7 learner alongside one of our experienced teachers. This SEN Support role is based in Royston, Hertfordshire and offers term-time hours of 09:00 - 12:30, Monday to Friday, with a start date of 2nd September 2026. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping the young person engage with their learning, build confidence and achieve their potential.

What we are looking for in an SEN support Assistant:

  • Experience of, or a genuine interest in, delivering SEN Support to young people with additional needs
  • Own transport is essential, as this SEN Support role is located near Royston, Hertfordshire
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 12:30
  • A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
  • Ability to start on 2nd September 2026
  • Commutable to Royston, Hertfordshire.
