About the Role

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for part time work in and around Cambourne, Cambridgeshire? We are currently looking for part time SEN TAs to work alongside an SEN Teacher with a primary aged year pupils. We are looking for engaging SEN Teaching Assistants commutable to rural locations near Cambourne, Cambridgeshire who have experience in educating young learners with various needs, including but not limited to Autism, Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and ACEs.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: 

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning to Year 3 learners
  • Ensure safeguarding around young vulnerable learners is at the forefront
  • Making sure our young learners feel safe and secure
  • Provide our learners with the best possible platform for education
  • Support the emotional development of our learners
  • Commutable to rural locations near Cambourne, Cambridgeshire

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 learners
  • Recognised De-escalation Training or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
  • Experience working with young learners with undiagnosed needs
  • Due to the location, the successful Outreach Tutor must have access to their own transport
  • Must be available for a minimum of 3-6 hours per day Mon-Fri.
  • Commutable to rural locations near Cambourne, Cambridgeshire
