SEMH Support Worker - The Role

  • You’ll be supporting pupils who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
  • Many have experienced disrupted education, trauma, or a loss of trust in school. Your job is to help rebuild that trust.
  • Building safe, consistent relationships with pupils
  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
  • Helping pupils re-engage with learning at a pace that works for them
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
  • Being a calm, steady presence on the tough days and a champion on the good ones
  • Located in Northampton, Northamptonshire
