Learning Support Assistant (LSA) key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing one-to-one support to the assigned student throughout the school day, adapting to their specific needs and learning style
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans and strategies that promote the student's academic, social, and emotional development
  • Encouraging the student's independence and self-esteem through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback
  • Assisting the student with daily tasks, such as organisation, communication, and social interactions
  • Maintaining accurate records of the student's progress, achievements, and any concerns, and regularly communicating with relevant stakeholders
  • Participating in relevant training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with special educational needs
  • Commute to Cambridge, Cambridgeshire full time.
