Specialist Speech and Language Therapist - Near Attleborough, Norfolk

Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference in children’s lives? We’re looking for someone kind, dedicated and motivated to join our supportive team at our partner school near Attleborough, Norfolk.

This is a fixed-term role (until November 2026), working 40 hours per week, full year, with a salary of £32,302.40 - £38,729.60 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be working with children and young people aged 6–16 who have a range of needs, including:

  • Communication and interaction difficulties

  • Specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia)

  • Autism, ADHD or social, emotional and mental health needs

With small class sizes and excellent staff-to-student ratios, you’ll have the time and support to focus on each child. You’ll be part of a friendly multi-disciplinary team, including an experienced Speech and Language Therapy team, meaning you’ll never feel like you’re working alone.

Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Delivering specialist assessments and interventions

  • Writing clear, supportive reports and progress notes

  • Advising and training teachers, parents and carers

  • Being a valued voice in team meetings and reviews

  • Supporting new student assessments and referrals

It’s a varied role where no two days are the same; but every day, you’ll see the impact of your work.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • HCPC and RCSLT registered, with a Speech and Language Therapy degree (or equivalent)

  • Confident in working with children and young people with a range of communication needs

  • Skilled in building positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

  • Organised, empathetic and ready to be a proactive member of the team

A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is strongly recommended, as we’re in a rural location near Attleborough.
