PE Teacher Key Responsibilities

  • Set up the classroom and PE spaces to create a positive learning environment
  • Plan and teach lessons that suit all ability levels
  • Supervise PE lessons, both indoors and outdoors
  • Encourage students to try new sports and stay active
  • Support students with their PE, based on their age and level
  • Help keep students safe and support their well-being

PE Teacher Requirements:

  • A strong commitment to supporting students with SEND
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a SEND setting or similar provision
  • QTS or QTLS is a bonus but not essential
  • Must had a Full-UK Driving Licence due to rural location.
