Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

This is a caring and nurturing specialist academy for pupils aged 5 - 16 with SEMH needs. The school places emotional wellbeing at the heart of everything it does, creating a safe, supportive environment where pupils can rebuild confidence, strengthen relationships and make meaningful progress both academically and personally. The role

Full-time SEN Teacher within the Secondary phase

Teaching a range of subjects or a key specialism, depending on your expertise

Small class sizes with high levels of support

A highly collaborative approach, working alongside skilled teaching, pastoral and residential teams

Deeply understanding of SEMH learners and the impact of trauma, disrupted education or challenging experiences

Calm, empathetic and resilient, able to build trusting relationships and provide the consistency pupils need

Creative and adaptable, using flexible approaches to help pupils re-engage with learning

Committed to promoting emotional wellbeing and restoring confidence, not just delivering curriculum content
