At Inspire EHC, we partner exclusively with specialist settings across the UK to provide empathetic, skilled, and reliable staff who genuinely understand the needs of SEND .

We are currently supporting an SEN School near Ely, Cambridgeshire who cater for learners with Moderate learning difficulties (MLD), Specific learning difficulties (SLD and/or Autism, all of whom have EHCPs and require highly personalised, structured, and compassionate support.

We are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with strong SEN expertise to provide PPA cover across the school. This is a role that requires confidence, adaptability, and a deep understanding of how to plan and deliver meaningful learning for pupils working significantly below age‑related expectations.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role:

  • Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across EYFS to KS4

  • Provide PPA cover across a range of classes and learning pathways

  • Plan and adapt lessons for students with:

  • Moderate learning difficulties

  • Specific learning difficulties

  • ASD and associated needs

  • High sensory needs

  • Non‑verbal communication

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff

  • Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and consistent learning environment
