Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with autism and complex needs. Encourage students’ independence, confidence, and personal development. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ensure a safe, nurturing, and well-organised classroom environment. What We’re Looking For Experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting individuals with autism/complex needs is desirable — or simply a genuine passion to make a difference! Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience, and resilience to support students effectively. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Flexible and adaptable to meet students’ changing needs. Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or related areas are desirable (or willingness to work towards them).
