About the Role
We're looking for Teaching Assistants!
We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join us to help support our schools. This is an exciting opportunity to support children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in nurturing and inclusive environments.
- Location: Hertfordshire
- Roles: SEN Teaching Assistants wanted - Level 2/3
- Start Date: Jan/Feb 2026
- Contract: Temp to Perm
- Salary: £13.50 - £14.50/hr (including holiday pay)
Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support for both teachers and pupils.
- Assist in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Work with small groups or one-to-one to support learning and engagement.
- Help with classroom preparation and resource development.
- Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment.
- Encourage pupil independence and participation in learning activities.
Skills & Requirements:
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Are passionate about supporting children with ASD and SEMH needs.
- Have experience working in a school or similar setting.
- Are patient, understanding, and committed to inclusive education.
- Can work collaboratively as part of a team.
