Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement personalised learning programmes in line with students' specific needs.
Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to support student development.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pupil progress and behaviour.
Promote positive behaviour and social skills within the classroom setting.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience or a strong interest in working with children with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A compassionate and patient approach to teaching and student engagement.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
A proactive attitude towards professional development and inclusive education.

Learning Support Assistant (SEN)
Location: Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex
Salary: £85 – £105 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role – Learning Support Assistant
As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to access learning and develop essential life skills.
You will work closely with teaching and therapy teams to provide consistent, high-quality support tailored to each learner.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with autism, SLD and complex needs in the classroom
Deliver personalised learning activities and interventions
Assist with communication strategies, including visual aids and sensory approaches
Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
Support students with personal care needs where required
Build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Requirements
Experience supporting individuals with SEN, autism, or complex needs (essential)
Background in education, care, or support work (desirable)
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
